Assist in the production of Nyheke Lambert LTD. Have the opportunity to work first hand with various materials, improve technical skills and broaden your knowledge of textile and complex designs. This is a business where everyday is different due to the many services that Nyheke Lambert LTD provide.


  • Hand Stitching and finishing garments

  • Cutting - Patterns, sewing and Ironing garments

  • Assisting with the preparation of upcoming Shows, Photoshoots etc

  • Attending events and representing the company

  • Fabric run/supplying

  • Taking images for social media or website

  • Stock checking

  • Leading fittings & taking notes (Training will be provided)

  • May involve travelling within the UK


  • Hand sewing skills

  • Preferable a Textile or Fashion design student with knowledge of working with various textiles although not essential.

  • Good knowledge of an industrial flat bed sewing machine & Overlocker

  • Hardworking, Dynamic, Energetic, passionate and devoted to the projects and willing to work extra hours to meet deadlines if necessary

  • Outgoing as there will be opportunities to represent the brand at events

  • Someone who is keen to share ideas and techniques

  • Comfortable using their own initiative and working solo

  • Organised, Clean & tidy

  • Highly Interested in menswear

This is an unpaid internship but you will have the opportunity to work first hand with myself and gain a lot of experience. This internship is for hardworking passionate and devoted talented individuals who want a hands-on internship experience. This is likely to lead to a paid role. Please note that this is not a design role and is for those interested in construction.

Part-time casual

£9 - £12 P/H depending on experience

As a pre-production manufacture Nyheke Lambert LTD are looking for a skilled seamstress that is looking for casual work. As a company specialising in start-up brands in the streetwear & contemporary field you will be working predominantly with jerseys and sturdy fabrics.


  • Interpreting patterns and spec sheets; reporting on pattern issues 

  • sewing production garments

  • Fabric cutting

  • Re-labelling

  • Applique

  • pressing and steaming

  • Finishing e.g. hand sewing

    Working with industrial sewing machines such as cover stitch machine, overlocking, button hole machine

  • Sewing core pieces such as T-shirts, hoodies, jog pants, bomber jackets, shirts etc

  • Soft tailoring

  • Technical pocketing


  • Experience of at least 3-5 years as a machinist is required.

  • Thorough knowledge of multiple sewing techniques, construction of clothes, manufacturing process and hand sewing; experience in using industrial flat- bed machines and overlockers.

  • Pattern cutting understanding 

  • Fast sewing skills while maintaining precision, accuracy and high-quality products

  •  Exceptional organisational skills and ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
